Making A Purchase Placing an order with Go Kayaking
You can order products from us in the following ways:
- In Person – at either one of our shops, or at one of the events that we are attending.
- Online - through our web-site

Please make sure that you include a contact phone number with your order.
When you place an order using any of the methods described above you are offering to buy products at the stated price, subject to these terms.
When you place your order online we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received it. This e-mail is generated automatically so that you have a confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.
Once we have sent the confirmation email we will then check availability and if necessary contact you with a further email. If the product is available and the details of the order are correct, this email will be deemed an acceptance and will specify delivery details and confirm the price of the products purchased. If the product is not available we will also contact you via e-mail.
Go Kayaking may cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion.
If an order is cancelled by Go Kayaking, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full.
This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Sale And Special Offer Items
Sale items, end of line and clearance offers are available on a first come first served basis. The publicising of a product on offer on our website does not guarantee availability and we reserve the right to cancel any orders in such cases if the product has sold out or is not available for any reason. Refunds will always be honoured.
Shipping And Handling
Postage costs are stated on our Delivery Details page. We use our own transport to deliver large Canoes and Kayaks and delivery times may be increased to fit in with our transport logistics.
We send smaller orders by various couriers or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, both of which will require a signature on receipt. If there is nobody available at the delivery address to accept delivery a card will be left to inform the recipient of where the parcel can be collected. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to collect the parcel. We accept no liability if the delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available. If the recipient fails to collect the parcel in good time the goods will be returned to us and a charge will be made for redelivery to that or an alternative address.
In the event that you select a business address for delivery, we shall be deemed to have delivered the order to its intended recipient by delivering it to the reception area of the business address.
Please note delivery times listed is working days and does not include weekends or Bank Holidays.
For shipping outside UK and Ireland, please contact us with your full delivery address so we can calculate the postage costs
We will dispatch items in stock within 2 working days and you should receive your order within 5-7 working days depending on the courier. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Some products may at certain times experience delays in supply due to the specialist nature of the sport or unexpected high demands. We will try to keep you informed of the status of any incomplete orders. If products are not likely to be available within a reasonable timescale you will be offered the option of a suitable alternative as close as possible in specification and price or to your original order. You of course have the option to cancel your order and obtain a refund if applicable.
Certain items seen on our website may be limited in availability. We reserve the right to cancel any order made with us in such cases for whatever reason. Refunds will always be honoured.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK, the current VAT rate will be applied.
Credit Card Security and Payment
By credit or debit card online (your details are securely encrypted before being transmitted).
For groups and organisations we may be able to set up an account and invoice you for payment by BACS or a company cheque.

Go Kayaking is run by highly experienced individuals in the trade. We are dedicated to supplying you with the best equipment for your needs. We are not a faceless website retailer; we are actively involved in paddle sports at various levels and are able to offer excellent advice.
We make every effort to ensure the goods you purchase are suitable for the purpose intended and are free from any defects. Most products are supplied with a manufacturer’s 12 month warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Certain items may have a limited warranty. Wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage or inappropriate use are not covered by any warranty. Your statutory rights are not affected. For more information please see our Returns Policy
Go Kayaking do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Please keep your receipt/invoice for anything you buy from us. It will ensure we can help you quickly, if you need to bring something back. Your items may be sent from either of our stores. To enable us to promptly deal with your return it is important to make your return to the store from which your item was sent.
Items that are not required or of the wrong size must be returned back to us within 28 days of purchase.
This is subject to the following conditions:
- You must notify us within 3 working days by post, email or telephone of your intention to do this.
- The product must be unused, with their original tags.
- Non stock items that are specifically ordered in will be subject to a 25% restocking fee
- We reserve the right to refuse a return or to require further proof of identity
Please note that you are responsible for any return postage.
Where you are requiring an exchange we will charge you the postage & packing costs of sending the replacement. Large items such as kayaks and paddles may incur a higher charge that will be agreed with you. Payment for this must be provided before we send out the replacement item. This charge does not apply if you collect the replacement goods from our store.
For international orders the charge will vary depending on the current cost of delivery to that country. For an accurate price please contact us before returning the item.
Warranty items to be returned to us must be done so at the customers cost. If the product is agreed as a warranty issue then the return postage will be refunded so please keep receipts when sending warranty items back to us.
DVDs and books are not returnable unless defective.
All of the above does not affect your statutory rights
We try to keep our website as accurate and up to date as possible with regards to specification, colours, materials and prices. We deal with thousands of products from a large number of manufacturers and suppliers and changes do occur. We cannot be held responsible for changes to products supplied in respect of any of the above factors shown on our website.
All information contained on our web sites and printed promotional material remains the property of Go Kayaking and its suppliers. Unauthorised copying or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
