Pyranha Kayaks

Pyranha is a British kayak brand founded by Graham Mackereth in 1971 and one of the best-known names in whitewater paddling. Run mainly by kayakers, it designs river running, creek, playboat and crossover kayaks, tests them on some of the world’s toughest rivers and keeps pushing kayak design forward.

Pyranha kayaks are designed and built in Runcorn, Cheshire, just down the road from our own shop. Every boat is developed and tested by experienced paddlers, made to a high standard and backed by over 50 years of experience. Our team is happy to help you choose the right one.

It depends on how you like to paddle. For surfing waves and playing your way downriver, the half-slice Ripper 2 is great fun, while the freeride Firecracker and Ozone are built for boofs, spins and tricks. If you paddle a mix of rivers and flat water, the crossover Fusion 2 does both.
